The Carinthian Museum of Modern Art provides an up-to-date platform for national and international exhibitions of modern and contemporary art, with 14 exhibition rooms of the highest international standard, over an area of some 1.000m². In adddition, the "Burgkapelle" (former chapel), with baroque frescoes by Josef Ferdinand Fromiller, is reserved for the use of young artists, and the arcade on the upper floor of the inner courtyard has a permanent display of sculptures from the collection.
